Dad being presented by Liz Yelling no less!
My Dad went for broke today and won his agegroup 65-69yrs in the World Age group qualifier at the Big Cow race venue in Emberton Park. Wow so pleased for him after quite a few weeks of working with a new coach from Newcastle Tri Club – Ken. Whatever they did it worked really well and Dad [Bill Boynton] did a great job of pacing his effort!!! and looked reallly strong at the end. So this could be the beginning of a Duathlon obesession – who knows but it has certainly booked him a place to the Worlds in Edinburgh in August, so proud of him on a brilliantly executed race xxx
